The Lathkil Hotel offers a traditional bar that serves as the heart of the hotel, perfect for walkers and visitors alike. Open year-round, enjoy roaring log fires in winter or relax on the terrace in summer. Sample local cask-conditioned ales, fine wines, and spirits, including over 20 gins, Prosecco, and a variety of non-alcoholic options.
Hartington Bitter and Peak Ales feature alongside visiting brews from regional breweries. The bar complements the hotel restaurant perfectly.
DRINKS AND ENTERTAINMENT FOR EVERY GUEST
The bar provides a wide selection of beers, local gins, wines, and spirits to suit every taste. Guests can participate in weekly Wednesday Quiz Nights starting at 8.30 pm, covering sports, current events, film, music, and general knowledge, including themed quizzes.
Traditional games like dominoes and cards are also available, creating a friendly, social atmosphere for all visitors, whether relaxing after a long walk or enjoying an evening with friends.

We pride ourselves on our range of beers, but for the non-beer drinkers amongst you, we have a fantastic selection of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available.
Stocking over 20 Gins, there's plenty of choice to work your way through or treat yourself to a glass of Prosecco after a hard day.
You will regularly find Hartington Bitter from Whim Ales, brewed locally in the village of Hartington and Peak Ales beers brewed on the Chatsworth Estate on the bar.
Other visiting ales come from local breweries such as Bradfield Brewery, Abbeydale Brewery, Storm Brewery, Blue Monkey Brewery, Wincle Beer Company, Pennine Brewing, Stancill Brewery, Little Critters, Silver Brewhouse, Howard Town Brewery, to name but a few.
We hold a weekly Quiz Night on Wednesday nights from 8.30 pm, with a variety of quizzes covering all subjects such as sport, current events, film and music and general knowledge, often themed to help with those tricky questions that escape you! Traditional games like dominoes and cards can also be played.
The bar has a traditional style, with a roaring fire in the cold winters, much welcomed after a long walk. With traditional wooden beams, wooden settles and a warm, cosy and inviting atmosphere, the bar is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay.
